Oh boy, what a bizarre cast!  Let's see...who do we have here?

There's Ernie and Bert from Sesame Street...

...oh, and there's Monkey himself (seated).

...Batman and R2-D2 on a golf cart (of course)...

...Robin (Boy Wonder), boxing great Muhammad Ali, and C-3PO.....

...Slimy the Snake (an original character, Slimy was a "space-snake" who befriended Monkey)...

What the...?  "The loudspeaker?"  Weren't they all just outside by a tree?  Hmm...I guess not.

More "crazy cast!"  There's Superman and King Kong!

This panel originally led to a four page, all out melee featuring alien weaponry, superheroic feats, and absolutely no plot whatsoever.  I mean, it was a Brawl to End Them All, but....

...I lost it.  The entire four page section.  Gone.  I knew that I could never draw the whole thing again, so I was faced with my first artistic crossroads.  Should I have scrapped the awesome cover and first page, or could I devise a different ending to fill out the remaining two blank pages?  The answer is on the next page!
